I have already paid Full money for Media Composer and Symphony. Short term this could be good for you! Say you need one feature from a new release for a job then subscribe for one month ($80?) and then carry on making money with you older version once that specific feature is no longer required. Or you can move to subscription for your second (always up to date) Avid.
However it will be stuck with whatever update was last released before your $299 "support" contract expired.īut if you ever want a newer version you have to but a new perpertual licence ($1299) plus a Symphony option ($749) if you want Symphony. Ut what will happened next year if I don't pay for another year,
